Photograph from the Northwest Arkansas Morning News of a boy scout carrying a tire along the rocky shoreline; taken for article titled "Heavy Load"; caption reads "Cub Scout Sean Porter wrestles with a tire during the Annual Beaver lake Clean up Saturday morning. Hundreds of Volunteers turned out to pick up litter along the lake's 485 miles of shoreline from 8 a.m. to noon. Several also picked up trash along Highway 12 in the bi-annual Scenic Highway Cleanup held in conjunction with the Beaver Lake cleanup. Participants in both events were treated to a free chicken dinner at Prairie Creek ampitheatre Saturday afternoon." |
